Introduction

Royal Enfield, a name linked with classic design and sturdy performance, has been a motorcycle industry classic for decades. With each new release, the brand continues to attract fans across the world. Recently, Royal Enfield launched its one of amazing product the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 which is a great motorcycle with its own nits and grits. However, the engine of Himalayan 450 is new Sherpa Engine which has really great response. With new Sherpa engine Royal Enfield has launched the new Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 which is yet too launched. So let’s see what the changes are and how it is going to perform.

Features and Specifications

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 will carry on the same engine of Himalayan 450 which is Sherpa and it is liquid cooled, DOHC, single cylinder engine which will do the work. However, the sprocket of rear is little bit smaller which will reduce the vibrations, make the engine more refined and also more power in low end.

Since rear sprocket is smaller than Himalayan 450 performance gap is filled by big tyres which we will further discuss in design section. But it really improves the performance on the road. Sherpa engine of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 produces 40Nm of torque and 40ps of power. Exhaust is little bit shorter than Himalayan 450 due to but it produces great sound and thump which is not very loud and also enjoyable to listen. Riders might feel lower end torque is little bit more than Himalayan 450.

Design and Aesthetic

Guerrilla 450 is very different in looking from its elder brother Himalayan 450. The look of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is looks inspired from Hunter 350. But its is very different in terms of looking. Guerrilla 450 sort of looks like Neo retro motorcycle. Wide handle bars, raised pillion seal classic looking round headlamp. But the instrument cluster is kind of right sided. Which I think if it could be in center it would look really great. Just like Himalayan 450 it do not have rear headlamp rather its integrated in indicators. Which is great approach.

The main looks and beauty of Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 comes from its tyres. Guerrilla 450 gets 120 section road tyres in front and 160 section road tyres in rear. Which increases its goods looks and also it helps Guerrilla 450 to be planted on road. Wide handlebars also gives its retro look and the foot pegs are little bit to backward site. Which gives its little bit committed posture. Which really increases its maneuverability and its riding stance.

The fuel tank is of 11L which is very lower than Himalayan 450. This kind of shrinks the tank and looks okay but I think the fuel tank must have some height and curve like Hero Maverick 450 which might have gave Guerrilla 450 a very good character but still Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 have very great character of Neo roadster motorcycle. Rear seat for pillion is good and also the grab rails are also very great looking.

The suspensions are also very great in front you will get the normal telescopic forks with 140mm of travel and monoshock suspension in rear which gives 150mm of travel. Now , some might feel that front suspension might be not good because they are not upside down forks but these suspension are made by Showa. Which might be the case why they don’t disappoint on little bit of offroad.

Features and Technology

Just like Himalayan 452 this motorcycle will also get same instrument cluster which includes real time navigation system which rider can access through Royal Enfield app. The base variant gets instrument cluster like meteor 350. Which only have turn by turn navigation. This instrument cluster also includes Bluetooth connectivity, ride modes and all basic detail. Safety advancements, such as a powerful ABS system and traction control, may also be included, increasing rider confidence and control. These characteristics demonstrate Royal Enfield’s dedication to combining legacy with cutting- edge technology.

Market Positioning and Competitors

The Guerrilla 450 is anticipated to appeal to riders who want a combination of traditional appearance and current performance. Positioned in the mid-range sector, it will most likely compete with KTM duke 390, Hero Maverick 440, Triumph Speed 400, Harley Davidson 440x. However, the Guerrilla 450 has a significant edge due to the distinctive attraction of the Royal Enfield design and the brand’s dedicated following. Its mix of price, performance, and elegance is likely to be well received both domestically and internationally.

Price and variants

Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is available in Analogue – 2.39 lakh, Dash – 2.49 lakh and flash in 2.54 lakh. It also offers great designs as well which will include Brava Blue, Yellow Ribbon, Playa Black, Gold Dip and Smoke Silver.

Conclusion

Riders who ride more in city and occasionally on highways Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 might be a really great option. More low end torque and ride by wire gives it really good punch of performance. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is poised to be a game changer in the motorcycling market. Combining the brand’s historic legacy with innovative improvements, this model is sure to grab the hearts of both enthusiasts and novice riders.
