Technical Specifications   Now, experienced riders and passionate riders like me will try to go through the spec sheet and try to mark its performance through this spec sheet but this bike is much more than that. Just like its predecessor this is a rugged engine with highly good performance and torque delivery. The heart of the BMW F 900 GS lies in its powerful engine and robust design. Below are the specifications that make this bike a leader in its segment:   Engine and Performance:   Type: Water-cooled, 2-cylinder, four-stroke engine. Capacity: 895 cc. Power: 105 @ 8,500 rpm. Max Torque: 93 Nm @ 6,750 rpm. Top Speed: Over 200 km/h. Transmission: 6-speed gearbox, chain drive.   Chassis and Dimensions:   Tyre Front: 90/90 R21; Rear: 150/70 R17. Seat Height: 870 mm. Riding Experience   Now, this is my favorite section of the blog to share my riding experience with you and everyone else that how a machine performs. We will start with the engine and its start, now when you start the vehicle damn you can listen to the grunt of the parallel twin. Now, when you go to showroom BMW also gives the option for Akrapovic exhaust as well but even if you go for stock exhaust F900GS is still a different league  of hooligan.I have test rode previous BMW F850GS as well and it was a great bike with great grunt and torque but it was still a linear machine but with new F900GS with increased power and torque this bike is hooligan on a road and all the electronics try to control its performance but  still its an aggressive machine with great off roading versatility in engine. So, beginners stay away from this monster. Its flickability on highways might really surprise you.   Quick shifter and Auto blipper is there and it works very phenomenal while riding. Sometimes I even forgot to use the clutch but its not very concerning don’t worry you will get the gist of it when you ride it 2 or 3 times. Overall suspension setup and tuning  is also really good for both highways  and off roads but still I would not say its a proper off roading machine but its a great machine for off road as well. Tyres feel really great on both on and off roads hence I don’t think it would pose any problem. The BMW F 900 GS is engineered to conquer diverse terrains, from mountainous trails to smooth urban roads.
